This course is designed to help students to gain knowledge of microbiology & ocular micro biology function & Aseptic Technique.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

  • On completion of this course. Students will be able to Gain knowledge on functions of Human Eye microbiology & ocular micro biology function & Aseptic Technique.

CHAPTER II: OCULAR MICROBIOLOGY

  • Basic Microbiology, Bacteria-Classification

CHAPTER III: GRAM STAINING PROCEDURE

  • Gram stain processing in the lab

CHAPTER IV: ASEPTIC TECHNIQUE

This course is designed to help students to gain a basic understanding of the English in order to utilize this in rendering effective Ophthalmic Assistant service.
